Dolcetto d’Alba D.O.C.

Grapes: 100 % Dolcetto

Vineyard: Located in Treiso and Madonna di Como in the soud-west exposure at 350-400 metres above sea level

Soil: white soil rich in clay and calcareus

Harvest: We usually pick up the grapes between 15th and 30th of September, according to the climatic conditions of each year

Fermentation: in stainless steel tanks for 1 week at 24°-26°C

Ageing: In stainless steel tanks until bottling in the spring following the vintage

Characteristics: Ruby red in colour with violet hues. Intense aroma of blackberries and red fruit. Full-bodied, fruity and smooth with a slightly bitter after-taste typical of Dolcetto. The best drinking temperature is between 18 and 20°C

Average age of the vines: 35 year

Barbera d’Alba superiore D.O.C.

Grapes: 100% Barbera

Vineyard: Located in Treiso in the Est exposure at 330 metres above sea level and Magliano Alfieri at Est exposure at 220 meters above sea level

Soil: white soil rich in clay and calcareus in Treiso area, layers of sand and clay in Magliano Alfieri area

Harvest: We usually pick up the grapes between 20th September and 5th of October, according to the climatic conditions of each year

Fermentation: In stainless steel tanks for 2 week at 26°-28°C

Ageing: 12 months in french oak barriques and 8 months in bottle prior to release

Characteristics:  Wine of notable structure with intense ripe fruit aromas and hints of spice. Full-bodied and smooth on the palate. Excellent acidity with soft tannins from wood ageing The best drinking temperature is between 18 and 20°C

Langhe-Nebbiolo

Langhe D.O.C. Nebbiolo

Grapes: 100 % Nebbiolo

Vineyard: Located in Alba (Madonna di Como area) in the soud-west exposure at 400 metres above sea level, Magliano Alfieri in the south-west exposure at 220 meters above sea level and Treiso in the soud-west exposure at 400 metres above sea level

Soil: white soil rich in clay and calcareus in Alba and Treiso areas, layers of sand and clay in Magliano Alfieri area

Harvest: We usually pick up the grapes between 20 th September and 10 th of October, according to the climatic conditions of each year

Fermentation: In stainless steel tanks for 2 weeks at 27 – 30°C

Ageing: 12 months in french and slavonian oak cask and 8 months in bottle prior to release

Caracteristics: Aromatic and velvety, with hints of plum, blackberry, liquorice and spices. Balanced tannic elegance and great lenght.

Wine for a long ageing (15-20 years), the best drinking temperature is about 18°C, served in large glasses

Barbaresco D.O.C.G.

Grapes: 100 % Nebbiolo 

Vineyard: Located in the “Giacosa”, “Bricco di Treiso” and “Giacone”areas in the soud-west exposure at 400-420 metres above sea level

Soil: White soil rich in clay and calcareus

Harvest: We usually pick up the grapes between 25 th September and 15 th of October, according to the climatic conditions of each year

Fermentation: In stainless steel tanks for 2 weeks at 27 – 30°C plus 40/50 days of further maceration

Ageing: 24 months in french and slavonian oak cask and 12 months in bottle prior to release

Characteristics: Complex structure offering notes of wild berries, black cherry and liquorice combined with light spice and vanilla acquired during ageing in wood. Typically austere on the palate, but warm and embracing, with extraordinary persistence and freshness in the finish. Wine for a really long ageing (20-30 years), the best drinking temperature is about 18°C, served in large glasses

Barbaresco D.O.C.G. Giacosa

Grapes: 100 % Nebbiolo 

Vineyard: Located in the “Giacosa” denomination area (Cru) in the soud-west exposure at 400-420 metres above sea level

Harvest: We usually pick up the grapes between 25 th September and 15 th of October, according to the climatic conditions of each year

Fermentation: 2 weeks in French oak barrels then a further 2 months maceration

Ageing: 24 months in French oak barrels then 12 months in bottle prior to release

Tasting notes: Complex structure offering notes of wild berries, black cherry and liquorice combined with light spice and vanilla acquired during ageing in wood. Typically austere on the palate, but warm and embracing, with extraordinary persistence and freshness in the finish. Wine for a really long ageing (20-30 years), the best drinking temperature is about 18°C, served in large glasse

Langhe D.O.C. Chardonnay

Grapes: 100 % Chardonnay

Vineyard: Located in Treiso in the est exposure at 380 metres above sea level

Soil: Sandy soil with some clay and limestone

Harvest: We usually pick up the grapes between 1th and 10th of September, according to the climatic conditions of each year

Fermentation: After 20 hours of cryomaceration, in stainless steel tanks for three weeks at a controlled temperature of 12 -14 °C

Ageing: Entirely in stainless steel tanks to preserve the wine’s typical freshness

Characteristics: Straw yellow in colour with green highlights. Persistent bouquet with the aroma of herbs and citrus fruits. Harmonious and remarkably fresh and long on the palate. The best drinking temperature is between 10 and 15°C

“Mellis” White wine Late harvest

Vineyard: Located in Treiso in the est exposure at 380 metres above sea level

Soil: Sandy soil with some clay and limestone

Harvest: We usually pick up the grapes between 25th November and 10th of December, according to the climatic conditions of each year.

Fermentation: In stainless steel tanks for 4 weeks at a controlled temperature of 16 -18 °C

Ageing: In small oak barrels for 18 months and 12 months in bottle prior to release

Characteristics: Deep golden yellow with an ethereal bouquet with hints of honey, liquorice and acacia flowers. Intensely sweet with a long finish of peach and toasted hazelnuts. Careful selection of the most suitable grapes after around 3 months ripening on the vine are the essential ingredients for this unique and complex wine. The best drinking temperature is between 13 and 18°C
